Well, firstly I'd like to clarify that I'm not expert at all! I'm just an intersex person who's learned about these issues (and is still learning) as they present themselves to me.

Secondly, while it might be a good way to start a debate, I don't really feel it's respectful to intersex people to use us as a wedge in a debate or some kind of catalyst for a thought experiment or teachable moment. We're people in our own right, and while I personally believe that we benefit immensely from solidarity and inclusion with the LGBT+ community, not all of us feel that way and might resent having their identity co-opted into debates over gender and sexuality.

Thanks for your comments on my article. I hope it provokes some discussions and thoughts that feature intersex voices without detracting from the importance of standing up for and supporting the rights of trans people.
